CORONA VIRUS UPDATE We are intending to run events in 2022 provided we are not in lockdown or any restrictions laid out by the Government which would cause them to be cancelled. The situation with Omicrom is that we will be guided by Government advice so some restrictions or cancellations may occur. See our Newsletter page for more details. Welcome to the home page of the Sussex Branch of the
British Driving Society. We run various events during the year, mainly
pleasure drives around different parts of Sussex and we try to organise
a drive or an event on a monthly basis. All BDS members are most welcome.
Please contact the person running the drive to register your interest and
bring your membership card with you. We try to cater for everyone, but if
there is something you would like us to arrange, or have any suggestions
please contact one of the team.
Our drives are completely free unless you would like a rosette in which case
the cost is just £3.00 to cover the cost of the rosette. Extra rosettes can be purchased in advance for
grooms/backsteppers if required. Tea/coffee and cake and biscuits are
usually included at the end of the drive for free.
